Growing up between the tree filled mountains and rocky coast of New Hampshire, John Thomas has found a unique charm and perspective in his illustrations. After studying at the Art Institute of Boston (bfa in Illustration, 2000), John moved to lower Manhattan where he has been defining his painting through privately commissioned works, primarily book illustrations, and editorial concepts. John resides and works in the city with his dog Jack, who is, above all, his sharpest critic.
